SAP Certified - Organizational Change Management Exam Format

This certification is based on SAP’s scenario based assessment format. In the assessment, candidates answer questions and justify their approach using a real-world scenario.

The assessment is available in two formats. SAP suggests the AI-guided option which utilizes a virtual interview style experience to ask real-world questions and record responses. Alternatively, candidates can opt for the human reviewer option, where they record a video as per the instructions on screen and upload it for evaluation by a SAP reviewer. Submissions that require a human review may take up to 20 business days.

The practical exam is open-book and non-proctored, allowing candidates to use publicly available SAP resources to complete the scenario.

Candidates must turn on the microphone before they start and they may choose to turn on the camera.

SAP does not just judge based on keywords, it applies semantic understanding. Each exam objective is scored on a scale of 1 (Insufficient) to 5 (Excellent) against criteria defined by experts.

Organizational Change Management Retake Rules

1. Candidates have four chances to pass the same certification exam within a 12-month period.
2. After an attempt is done, you can make another attempt after a 24-hour waiting period.
3. If an assessment is failed, but the exam timer has not expired, SAP offers the option to immediately restart the assessment, and that retake counts toward the four-attempt limit.
4. Candidates who are unable to pass after four attempts will need to wait 12 months from the date of their last attempt before they can retake the certification exam.

Keeping C_OCM Certification Valid

• Validity: C_OCM_2601 certification is valid for 12 months.
• Stay Certified Assessment: If you are subscribed to SAP Learning Hub, complete the Stay Certified assessment in the 90 days prior to expiry.
• Extension: If you successfully complete the assessment, it will extend the certification for a further 12 months from the original expiry date, so completing it early will not reduce your remaining validity.
